My Avocado logoSo the good news is that My Avocado has opened. The not-so-good news is that it’s opened with a very limited menu. That will be remedied later next week when everything will be in order with the food hot, fresh and ready to go and as friendly a staff as you could desire waiting on you.

We were there this week having heard about the doors being opened. And while we were only able to order a unique hot dog pizza, broccoli soups and a pineapple, banana and coconut milk smoothie what we did have was excellent. Orange is getting to be complete with great places to eat.

The menu consists of made-to-order burritos and salads with a good array of both meat and protein choices. It’s a simple but healthy, delicious sounding menu that I can’t wait to try.

The place is immaculate. It sparkles and the transition from what the building used to be to what the Abedi family has transformed it into is nothing short of breathtaking. Little details like a stool in the unisex bathrooms for the little ones to stand on while washing hands, plenty of available napkins and utensils and a color scheme that is perfect.

My Avocado will be open seven days a week from 11a until 8p. There’ll be daily specials, homemade soups and custom-made burritos and salads waiting for you.
