Stand Up Coffee
“Always Freshly Brewed”
276 Berry Hill Rd
Orange, Virginia, VA 22960-1696
John, Rhonda & Harrison Jenkins
On the corner of Monrovia and Berry Hill, across from the Route 20 Market is where Orange County Roasters is opening their unique concept coffee bar called, “Stand up Coffee.” While it is designed after the popular Australian-style coffee houses with minimal seating but high-top tables Stand Up Coffee will not have the seating allowing for a comfortable venue for the quick and efficient serving of great coffees. There’ll be a wide selection of locally roasted coffee’s and morning light foods. The shop will provide a social gathering place for commuters, town employees and residents wanting a quality, fresh cup of coffee.
“We’re doing a wonderful job with our roastery,” said John Jenkins, “but with so many potential customers coming in off of Rt. 20 wanting a morning cup of coffee we realized we had a captive client base that was being neglected. We’re going to be able to serve coffee, fresh coffee, by the cup.”
“Our light foods will be all locally sourced. We’re very committed to promoting Virginia products and especially those closer to home: Orange, Madison, and the surrounding counties. Our cinnamon rolls will be from Moving Meadows Farm in Culpeper, Lumi Juice from Charlottesville (Lumi, which stands for “Love yoU Mean It”, makes USDA certified organic cold-pressed, high pressure processed fruit and vegetable juices so that you can easily get your daily servings of fruits & veggies!), and we’ll have kombucha, biscotti, granola, Rice Crispy Treats and candy all from locally sourced producers.”
Stand Up Coffee will be featuring four different drip coffees, ten specialty drinks, iced coffees and Smoothies.
The grand opening is set for
6a until 2p, Monday, July 24th.
With regular hours of 6a until 2p Monday through Fridays.
