Orange Presents the 10th Annual Downtown Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, March 31th the ODA, Orange’s Sheetz, and Orange Pharmacy will present one of the area’s most celebrated annual children’s events with a free Easter Egg Hunt. All children ages 6 and under are welcomed to gather the colorful eggs filled with surprises.

This year the eggs will be filled with either candy, toys, stickers or washable tattoos. There will be over 3,000 eggs ready for the children as well as gold eggs with some amazing prizes. Sheetz is providing three golden eggs for special Easter baskets filled with goodies a gift certificate and in-store coupons. Orange Pharmacy will be giving the lucky children eggs filled with plush bunny’s for their Easter keepsake. There will be free coffee and donuts for the parents.

As in the past, we will secure a Toddler Patch where little ones 3 and under have an easier time of gathering their own eggs. This will be a smaller roped-off area allowing the new walkers a chance to put eggs in their own little Easter baskets.

The event, hosted by the Orange Downtown Alliance is made possible through the community spirit and generosity of Orange’s Sheetz and Orange Pharmacy. Both of these outstanding businesses go out of their way to provide our community with this annual, safe, free and fun children’s activity.

We turn the kids loose exactly at 10a so you will want to be on time. The Easter Egg Hunt is held in Taylor Park on Main Street across from the Post Office. It is a free event with no registration necessary. All children are welcomed!
